Starlite Cliplights

Starlite Cliplights

Starlite is a brand which has dedicated itself to ensuring that your night-time and low-light-level angling are as enjoyable as possible. The brand’s unique isotopes are the perfect solution for a range of night fishing uses, whether you’re targeting pike at night or you’re hoping that your coarse fish will be more confident to feed in darker conditions. The brand stocks are a range of lighting solutions, from lights that are dedicated to sit on your float to these unique Cliplights. Starlite Cliplights are purpose designed to clip the very tip of your rod. They let out a glow which ensures that you can clearly locate the tip of your rod in the pitch black so, rather than you having to sit with your headtorch strapped around your forehead all night in case your rod twitches, you can simply slip this isotope into place.

The Starlite Cliplights are incredibly easy to use and they operate using a fail safe chemical formula. The Cliplights use two non-toxic and non-corrosive chemicals which, when mixed, start a chemical reaction the results in a bright glow. These chemicals are separated within the isotope by an incredibly thin wall of glass. To mix the chemicals, all you need to do is to break the glass wall, which can be done simply by bending the tube. This allows to two non-toxic and non-corrosive chemicals to mix, bringing the chemical reaction. The size of these tubes ensures that this reaction will continue for between four and six hours, giving you a powerful glow that will last well into the night.

This version of the Starlite isotope clips directly on to your rod tip. In order to ensure that it is the perfect fit for your rod tip there are a variety of sizes available. The smallest of these is suitable for rod tips with diameters between 1.5mm and 1.9mm. This ensures that you aren’t left with a Cliplight that is liable to fall from your rod on the cast or, even worse, during an aggressive take. Similarly, the medium size model is suitable for rod tips with diameters between 1.8mm and 2.3mm. The large models of the Cliplight is ideal for rods with 2.4mm to 2.9mm tips, which ensures that you don’t damage your rod tip by trying to force a too-small Cliplight onto it. Finally, the extra-large version of the Cliplight is ideal for the largest rods, with tip diameters of 3mm to 2.5mm. This range of four Cliplights should cover the vast range of rod tip sizes available and it ensures that no matter what type of rod you own you’ll be able to see the tip clearly.

Both of these Cliplights come in the standard Starlight size. This means that the glow from the chemical reaction can be seen from 30 yards away. Considering the longest rods available are 14ft in length, this is ample powerful enough. They can even be attached to floats for short-range float fishing! Similarly, you could also attach these Starlite Cliplights to your bobbins, for increased bite indication when carp fishing.

If you’re looking for a lighting solution for fishing across the disciplines then you need look no further. Starlite has more than 15 years of isotope experience and you can ensure that these Cliplights will keep your rod tip visible throughout your low light level angling. All Starlite products, regardless of size, have a shelf life of two years, so do please make note of the date that you purchased this product.
